Dear Coach,

On behalf of the Greater Longview Soccer Association (GLSA), you are invited to enter the 2017 Fall Fest Tournament, to be held October 13-15. The tournament is open to boys’ and girls’ U8-U19 recreational teams only. U7 teams may enter but must play up to U8 and we will have U9 and U11 age divisions as number of teams allow. No guest players will be allowed. All teams must present a medical release acknowledgement form during check-in stating they have a signed medical release form for every player. Team check-in will be done October 9-12 by email (office@longviewsoccer.com), fax (903-759-2006), or in person 10a-2p at the GLSA office (3301 W Marshall Avenue, Suite 215, Longview, TX  75604). You will pick up your validated Misconduct Report and Game Rosters at the tournament tent before your first game.

Your completed application, appropriate entry fee, and official roster signed by your registrar and coach must be postmarked no later than September 22, 2017. No guest players are allowed. Fall Fest will be held at the Lear Complex only, so space is extremely limited. Teams will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, so do not wait until the last minute to enter!

The tournament will play by NTSSA tournament rules, in addition to: ROSTERED coaches and teams will occupy one sideline while spectators will occupy the other sideline AND each player will have his/her own jersey with a permanent number which corresponds to the team’s official Misconduct Report/Game Roster.
Any discrepancies or duplications will result in a forfeit of your game. Teams that voluntarily “play up” in their association may not play down to their true age division in this tournament. All divisions will be guaranteed a three-game minimum, provided all teams show up for their games. Schedules will be posted at www.longviewsoccer.com by October 6, 2017. Sunday advancements will be posted on our Facebook page.

Some qualifying games will be played on Friday night. Any remaining Saturday qualifiers, the semi-finals and finals will be played on Sunday.

Trophies are guaranteed for 1st and 2nd place in divisions U-9 and above. Participation trophies are awarded for U-8 teams only.

Entry fees:
Recreational     U-8: $145, U-9/U-10; $225, U-11/U-12: $275, U-13 to U-19: $375

Only certified funds/cash or credit cards will be accepted. Cashier’s checks or money orders should be made payable to GLSA. PERSONAL CHECKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!

If your team has referees or linesmen that would like to work during the tournament, please give their names, addresses, and phone numbers to our referee assignor, Jettie Zimicki, at 903-759-7601 or jettiez@swbell.net. They will not be scheduled to work during your games.

If you need additional information, please contact me at 903-916-9950 or email me at toricam@aol.com.
